Roopa Gogineni is a freelance photographer and documentary producer
telling stories from East Africa and beyond.

Roopa received a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and an MSc in
African Studies from the University of Oxford. She speaks Telugu, French,
and Swahili and some Spanish and Arabic. She has one foot in her
hometown in West Virginia, the other in Southern India, but most days
wakes up in Nairobi.
